Designer Tip: Things to Consider Before Starting a Basement Bar Project
Ok, so you’re thinking of creating a bar in your basement right? Awesome idea! So you’re probably asking yourself…”What things should I consider when planning out my basement bar?”.
The first question to ask is…will this be a wet bar (with sink) or a dry bar (no sink)? Next, think about the shape of bar you would like. It could be a single straight counter, two parallel counters, L-Shaped, U-Shaped, or even have a counter on all 4 sides!
Now, that you’ve determined those two very important design details, you can start thinking about what “bells & whistles” you might want to add. There are lots of amazing products available and the options can seem endless! But don’t worry, we’ve created a bar checklist for you, that you can download below to help make designing your basement bar simplified!
If you’re tight on space, but would like to have a dishwasher in your bar, you might consider this in-sink dishwasher combo. This is a new product, but I’m excited to see this put to use! You can read more about it by clicking on the image below.
In our “Must Have Products” section below, you’ll find links to some amazing products that you can incorporate in your own design.
