Back-to-school means early morning breakfasts, packing lunches, and getting everyone out the door on time. When my daughter was little, and summer was coming to an end, I would always feel the need to get my kitchen in order. Three areas are essential to focus on, drawers, the refrigerator, and the pantry. Having these spaces organized makes for a smooth morning.

Drawers

Drawer organizers are a must in any kitchen. You can turn a pile of “what’s in here” into a space where you can easily find any item instantly. I like to add spice dividers, bag storage, and utensil dividers.

Refrigerator

First, I empty the entire refrigerator and throw out anything expired. Then I clean the fridge and organize it with clear acrylic bins for smaller items making it easy for kids to grab what they need and making it easy to stay organized when putting away the groceries.

Pantry

If you have a large pantry, this space can be fun to organize with baskets, jars, etc. However, even if you only have a small pantry, don’t underestimate the power of organization! You can stack bins and baskets on the shelf to keep items neatly grouped together and even use shelf dividers to section off shelves.

Below are some inexpensive items to help you get your kitchen organized!
