I purchased one of these container gardens for my mom for Mother’s Day. Not only does she love to garden, but I was reading this blog post about Victory Gardens that were created during WWI and it felt appropriate during this pandemic to do our part with creating additional food supply.
A few years ago my daughter was telling me about the benefits of honey. We toured a local farmers market and learned how local honey helps with seasonal allergies!
Indoor plants are great to have around all year long especially if you live in a northern climate like we do where you don’t get a lot of nice weather. Indoor plants help brighten up your home and reconnect you with nature. Personally I love cactus type plants because I’m horrible at keeping indoor plants alive. But, I think I’m going to give this Rex Begonia plant a try because I love the colors of it!
